The Wild Ginger Falls Maui cottage is nestled in the midst of coffee trees, towering bamboo groves, fruit trees and rock cliffs. A truly unique and amazing Maui vacation rental cottage filled with Hawaiiana treasures from a bygone era.

This cottage feels like you are a million miles from nowhere, when in truth, you are just a 5 minute drive from Makawao and Haiku towns; about 10 minutes from Paia and all the best North Shore beaches, and smack dab in the middle of everywhere that vistors to Maui love to go.
However, be warned.... once you are there, you may not want to leave!

The cottage boasts high ceilings with high, screened-in openings, and what a difference this detail makes.... There is a feeling of luxury as the air circulates around the simple, yet beautifully designed and appointed spaces.

As well as indoor sitting and dining areas, the screened-in porch features a dining/game table and chairs for four, and a comfortable sitting area from which to enjoy the view of the stream and waterfall when they run (best luck in the winter months), or marvel at the backdrop when it is dry (most of the time).

Your artistic hosts are nearby, but unobtrusive, and Continental Breakfast selections are provided for your stay.... (a nice collection of goodies like tropical fruit in season, baked goods, butter/jam etc.)

This is a true gem.... ideal for honeymooners!

    The magnificent views of Maui's valley laying between the 2 volcanoes, her surrounding ocean and 3 sister islands will take your breath away as you wind your way up the mountain.
    A great launching place from which to visit the awe inspiring Haleakala Crater.

The waterfall that appears in some pictures of Wild Ginger Falls is a seasonal waterfall and is NOT guaranteed to be running. Most of the time the waterfall and streambed are dry.

Due to the fact that there is a rocky stream-bed, and the waterfall has been known to suddenly gush, this is not a suitable rental for children.
