Parents of young children often ask us if the beaches on the North Shore are suitable for children. As a result, I've put this page together with photos of some of the best spots that I know of for the little ones. The beaches often have a reef close to shore, making shallow, sandy-bottomed, tranquil tide-pools that are perfect for children who may otherwise be afraid of the big open ocean.... and parents are able to relax more, knowing that their offspring are safe. Mama's Beach in Kuau and Baby Beach at Sprecklesville are the two best known. |
