The large Makena Landing oceanfront vacation home sings Aloha! Owned by a local Hawai'ian ohana (family), you can just feel the good times that have taken place here.... and they welcome you to add your large family or group gatherings to the history. The grassy lawn and terrace next to the ocean invite family gatherings and small, private weddings. Featuring 4 ample bedrooms.... each with it's own bathroom and private entrance, you can pile all the family in for a great re-union vacation. There is a large kitchen, living room, dining room, and one bedroom with bathroom on the first floor. Also a 900 sq ft lanai with a patio set and lots of seating. Three more HUGE bedrooms occupy the second story, each with its own private entrance and bathroom. Then there are 2 more picnic-table style gathering areas outside.... one under cover with a huge stainless steel triple sink, and a gas as well as a kiawe (mesquite) wood-burning grills. The other picnic table is on the lower terrace, right next to the water where honu (turtles) come in most every evening. You can't beat this spot! Makena Landing is a few steps away from where you may take a kayak tour. Here you will experience an authentic Hawai'ian vacation among the locals who come to swim, fish, and enjoy their cultural activities in these natural surroundings. And did I mention the sunsets? The 1 bedroom lower floor may be rented separately. (See rates below). |
