Situated just between the eclectic small town of Pa'ia and world famous windsurfing beach Ho'okipa, this sweet Maui by the Sea cottage sits up high to catch views of the West Maui Mountains as well as the blue Pacific.
Watch from your lanai (deck), as giant humpback whales and their new calves frolic in the North Shore waters during the winter months.

The inside is cozy and high end.
There is a separate bedroom with queen size bed, full bath, and full kitchen. Both rooms have ceiling fans. Washer and dryer are in the unit. The bedroom and living room open on to the ocean-facing lanai (deck) to catch the sea-breezes, and ocean sounds.

A short stroll through the garden abloom with all kinds of exotic tropical plants takes you down to the water's edge, and you can rinse off sand and salt in the out-door shower.

A lovely, romantic, affordable little get-away....

Disclosures

Maui by the Sea Cottage sits off of Hana Highway. There can at times be excessive road noise. However, we have good insulation and have air conditioning to minimize the problem.
From the guest cottage you look over the roof of the owner's house to the ocean. Access to the ocean is limited by the owner's home. There is no beach in front of the property, it is a rocky shoreline, yet it is possible to access to the water for snorkeling and surfing. A sandy beach is 200 yards from the cottage.
